Depending on the weather, ground conditions or time of year, our animals may be displayed in their grass paddocks outside or in their undercover enclosures. Either way you will have the best of experiences and opportunity to interact with our animals. We always strive to do the very best for our animals comfort and welfare - and yours too.
Yes dogs are allowed into one part of the farm, the picnic area, and must remain on a lead. We cannot allow dogs into the other farm areas where we keep animals and birds, as some wander freely. Close by the farm there are also a number of safe places for you to walk your dog, where you can let it off the lead. Staff can advise about these.
Allow about three hours for a leisurely exploration. However, many visitors spend the whole day with us.
